DC Young Fly Saint Louis Concert reviews
Boring is a Six letter word for this concert!
"Bummer is what I think of this concert unfortunately. Love is a far cry from the hip upbeat vibe on We Sing, We Dance, We steal things, which is a disappointment. This concert, which focused on the Love album, disappointed fans. Love just doesn't deliver with the catchy upbeat tunes fans love, and expected after the success of the previous. I have gone as far as saying the We Sing was the best album ever anywhere. When I go to a concert, I expect to get out of my seat, sing, and dance along with the music. But it seems the entire audience was bored with the songs from Love, as no-one stood and no-one danced. Even when the encore was called, we expected to hear some of these favorites but heard the one hit off Love, 'I won't give up,' which is still very mellow. The show needed some energy from popular hits like Make It Mine, Geek in the Pink, Word Play, or The Dynamo of Volition, but they never came to be played. We ended up walking out early to beat the crowd as we truly were bored. DC Young Fly, sorry, but I lost a bit of respect for you for choosing such a lame music set list. Although I will keep 'Make It Mine' as my life tune!"
